Tally pricing explained: who needs to pay at all
Tally has a Free plan, a Pro plan and a Business plan. The prices below come from Tally's own pricing page, read on 2026-10-10 in US dollars, including the pay-monthly and pay-yearly toggle.
Most people who open this page should leave it knowing they can stay on Free. Tally's page promises unlimited forms and unlimited submissions at no cost, within its fair usage guidelines, and the Free list includes conditional logic, payments, signatures and file uploads. The paid plans are about branding, custom domains, collaboration and analytics, not about volume.

What Tally does well
A Free plan with no response cap
Tally's page lists unlimited forms, unlimited submissions, logic, calculations, payments, signatures and file uploads on Free. Few form tools put this much behind a $0 price, and it is the reason most people never need to pay.
Payments, signatures and uploads built in
You can collect payments, signatures and file uploads on Free. If your forms depend on any of these, Tally is a stronger fit than a tool that does not offer them, and paying nothing for it is hard to beat.
Integrations on the free tier
Google Sheets, Notion, Airtable, Zapier, Make and webhooks are all listed on Free. A form that feeds a spreadsheet or an automation does not need a paid plan.
Pro features that matter for client work
Custom domains, partial submissions, respondent emails sent from your own domain and unlimited team members are on Pro. For an agency sending branded forms to clients, that list is a real reason to pay.
What Free already gives you
The free tier on Tally's pricing page is unusually complete. It lists unlimited forms and unlimited submissions, a custom thank-you page, redirect on completion, conditional logic and calculations, duplicate-submission prevention, password protection, closing a form on a limit or a date, answer piping, 45+ languages and right-to-left support, and email notifications to yourself.
It also includes payments, signatures and file uploads, plus Google Sheets, Notion, Airtable, Zapier, Make and webhooks. The one condition is Tally's fair usage guidelines, which the page links to. We have not tested where that line sits, so read the policy if you expect very high volume.
What Pro adds, and what it costs
Pro is $29 a month billed monthly, or $290 a year billed yearly, which Tally displays as $24 a month with a note saying two months are free. The $290 figure is the yearly total in the page's own data: ten months at $29.
For that money the page lists: removal of Tally branding, custom domains, unlimited team members, partial submissions, advanced customization, custom CSS, tailored emails to yourself and respondents, custom email domains, a customizable link preview, workspaces and folders, uploads beyond 10 MB, visit analytics, drop-off analytics, 30-day version history, and Google Analytics and Meta Pixel integrations.
Nobody needs all of that. The common reasons to pay are the branding, the domain and the partial submissions. Pick the one you would miss and check whether it is worth $290 a year to you.
Business: when the extra $50 a month makes sense
Business is $89 a month billed monthly or $890 a year, shown as $74 a month. It adds exactly three things to Pro on the page: automatic deletion of submissions after a set period, email verification of respondents, and version history up to 90 days.
These are compliance and lead-quality features. A small team without a data retention policy to follow is unlikely to need them, and the page itself says more Business features are coming, so judge the plan by what is listed today.
Real cost over one, two and three years
Pro on yearly billing is $290 after one year, $580 after two and $870 after three. On monthly billing it is $348, $696 and $1,044. Business on yearly billing is $890, $1,780 and $2,670, and on monthly billing $1,068, $2,136 and $3,204.
Pro is not priced per seat, because the page lists unlimited team members on it, so a bigger team does not change these numbers. They assume Tally keeps today's prices, which it can change at any time.
Who should pay, who should not
If you build simple forms and a small Tally badge does not bother you, stay on Free. It costs nothing and does more than most paid tools. If you need custom domains, partial submissions, or emails to respondents, Pro is the plan, and nothing here replaces it.
The narrow case for MangoForm is someone paying for Pro mainly to hide the branding and style the forms. It costs $25 once, has no cap on forms or responses, shows no Powered by badge by default, supports custom colors, fonts, logo and CSS, workspaces with member invites, and a custom domain per form. It has no payments, no file uploads, no partial submissions and no emails to respondents, so check your forms against that list first.
