The Calendly alternative you pay for once

Calendly's free plan gives you one event type. The moment you want a second one (a 15-minute intro call and a 60-minute session, say) you're on Standard: $10 per seat per month on yearly billing, or $12 if you pay monthly.

PeachCalendar is a booking app for $30, paid once, with unlimited event types, a public booking page, Google Calendar events and Google Meet links. Below: Calendly's prices with their source, the cost over five years, what PeachCalendar does today, and the list of things Calendly still does better.

PeachCalendar is a good fit if

  • You're a freelancer, coach, consultant or creator booking one-on-one calls
  • You need more than one event type but nothing team-related
  • You work in Google Calendar and Google Meet
  • You'd rather pay once than add another seat-based subscription

Stay on Calendly if

  • You need automated reminder emails or SMS before meetings
  • You take payment at booking time or ask custom intake questions
  • You schedule as a team: round-robin, routing forms or shared event types
  • You live in Outlook or Microsoft 365 rather than Google

Standard is the plan you need as soon as you want a second event type, and the closest match to PeachCalendar. We use its yearly-billing price for a single seat ($10 a month). Every extra person adds another seat on Calendly.

Where Calendly is better

Reminders and workflows

Calendly Standard sends automated reminders and follow-ups. PeachCalendar sends a confirmation to the invitee and a notification to you, but no reminders before the meeting. If no-shows hurt your business, that difference matters.

Payments and integrations

Calendly connects to Stripe and PayPal so people pay when they book, and to HubSpot, Mailchimp and, on Teams, Salesforce. PeachCalendar has no payment step and no CRM integrations.

Team scheduling

Round-robin, collective events, lead routing and admin controls are where Calendly Teams shines. PeachCalendar is built for one person's calendar and has no team features.

Calendar coverage and polish

Calendly works with Google, Outlook and other calendars, has a browser extension and an AI notetaker, and has years of edge cases handled. PeachCalendar works with Google Calendar only, and invitees can't yet cancel or reschedule from their email; you do it from your dashboard.

Paying monthly for a booking link

A booking page is a form that reads your availability and writes an event to your calendar. For solo professionals, it's a tool you set up once and then share for years. Paying $120 a year for that, per person, is the part people object to, especially when the upgrade from Free is triggered by something as basic as wanting two kinds of meeting.

PeachCalendar charges $30 once. You get unlimited event types from 15 minutes to two hours, so a discovery call, a paid session and a quick check-in can each have their own link.

How PeachCalendar handles a booking

You set weekly availability as named schedules, then block specific days or set custom hours with date exceptions, for holidays or a day of travel. Each event type gets a location: an auto-generated Google Meet link, a phone call, an in-person address, or any custom link you paste, such as your own video room.

Your invitee opens your booking page, sees times in their own time zone (detected automatically, with a switcher if they're traveling) and picks a slot. Once they confirm, the meeting is added to your Google Calendar with them as a guest, with a Meet link if you chose one, and both of you get an email. If plans change, you cancel or reschedule from your dashboard; with Google Calendar connected, the event there is updated as well.

Each event type can have its own color, image and custom CSS, and you can hide the "Powered by" badge. The booking page can be embedded on your website inline or in an iframe.

The honest verdict

If you book one-on-one calls through Google Calendar and mostly upgraded Calendly to get more than one event type, PeachCalendar covers that for less than three months of Calendly Standard. If you need reminders, payments, intake questions or team scheduling, Calendly is the better tool today and worth what it costs.

FAQ

Is PeachCalendar a one-time payment?

Yes, $30 once for lifetime access. It's also included in the $49 F*ckSubscription bundle with our link-in-bio and form apps.

Does PeachCalendar work with Google Calendar?

Yes. Bookings are created as events in your Google Calendar with the invitee added, and while Google Calendar stays connected, cancellations or reschedules you make in PeachCalendar update that event. Outlook and other calendars aren't supported.

Does PeachCalendar send reminder emails?

No. It sends a confirmation email to the person booking and a notification to you. There are no automated reminders before the meeting yet.

Can I charge for bookings?

Not inside PeachCalendar. There's no payment step in the booking flow, so if you need to collect money upfront, Calendly Standard with Stripe or PayPal is the better fit.

Can I use Zoom instead of Google Meet?

There's no native Zoom integration, but you can paste your own Zoom link as a custom location on any event type.
