Zoho Forms pricing explained, from Free to Premium
Zoho Forms sells five tiers: Free, Basic, Standard, Professional and Premium. The numbers below come from the vendor's plan comparison page, read in US dollars on 2026-10-11, with both the monthly and the yearly billing rows. Local taxes such as VAT are charged on top, according to a note at the top of that page.
What separates the tiers is mostly volume and a long list of ticks. Free keeps you to 3 forms and 500 submissions a month. Every paid tier lifts the form cap, so the real question is which monthly submission ceiling you need, how many logins you need, and which specific features sit behind which tier. Many of them are cheaper than you might expect, and a few that sound basic are not on the free tier.

What Zoho Forms does well
Payments are on every tier
The table ticks PayPal, Stripe, Square, Razorpay, Authorize.Net and more on all five plans, with the Free plan limited to 10 payments. If your form takes money, that alone settles the choice.
Zoho apps and approvals
Zoho CRM, Books, Desk, Sign, Campaigns and Writer document merge are all ticked from Free, and multilevel approval starts at Standard. For a business already living in Zoho, the form is a front door to its other tools.
Alerts, offline mobile and PDFs
SMS notifications are ticked on every plan and WhatsApp from Basic. The iOS and Android app is on all tiers and is described as working without an internet connection, and submissions can be turned into PDFs.
Security options at the top
Field encryption starts at Basic. Premium alone adds form encryption, HIPAA compliance and record audit, which regulated teams may be required to have.
Submissions per month set the ladder
Forms are unlimited from Basic upward, so the monthly submission ceiling is what you actually buy: 500 on Free, 10,000 on Basic, 25,000 on Standard, 75,000 on Professional and 150,000 on Premium. Reports are listed as unlimited on every plan.
The jumps are uneven. Basic to Standard multiplies the yearly price by 2.5 for 2.5 times the submissions, and also brings 10 users. Standard to Professional roughly doubles the price for three times the volume. A small team that rarely tops 500 responses a month never needs to leave the first row.
Monthly or yearly billing
The comparison page has two billing rows. Basic is $12 on monthly billing and $10 a month on yearly billing, so $144 against $120 across twelve months. Standard is $30 against $25, which is $360 against $300. Professional is $60 against $50, or $720 against $600, and Premium is $110 against $90, or $1,320 against $1,080.
Yearly billing saves roughly one sixth at every tier. Committing for twelve months only pays off if the form will actually be live that long.
Users and who the price applies to
The table lists users per plan: 1 on Free and Basic, 10 on Standard, 25 on Professional and more on Premium. It does not say whether the prices are charged per user or per organization, so the cost scenarios here use a single seat and the listed monthly price as it appears. Check with the vendor before budgeting for a larger team.
What a plan costs over one, two and three years
Basic on yearly billing comes to $120 after one year, $240 after two and $360 after three. On monthly billing it is $144, $288 and $432. Standard on yearly billing is $300, $600 and $900, and on monthly billing $360, $720 and $1,080. Professional on yearly billing is $600, $1,200 and $1,800.
These totals hold only if the vendor keeps its current prices and you stay inside the submission ceiling of the plan you picked.
Who should stay, and who can look elsewhere
Stay on Zoho Forms if you take payments, run approvals, send SMS or WhatsApp alerts, collect forms offline on a phone, merge answers into PDFs or Writer documents, feed Zoho CRM, or need encryption. The Free plan is also enough for plenty of people: 500 submissions a month is a lot for a contact form.
The group worth a second look is people paying Basic or Standard only to get past the form cap or the submission ceiling on simple forms with no payments or uploads. For them, MangoForm is a one-time $25 with no cap on forms or responses. It has no payments and no file uploads, so test your forms against that first.
