Uniqode pricing explained, plan by plan
Uniqode sells four self-serve plans, Essential, Core, Plus and Business+, plus a free tier that only makes static QR codes. The prices below come from the data Uniqode's own pricing page loads, read on 2026-10-11 in US dollars. Every plan is billed yearly: the page says it currently offers only annual subscriptions.
The number to watch is how many dynamic codes a plan holds, because a dynamic code is the kind you can edit and track. It goes from 15 on Essential to 250 on Core, 500 on Plus and 2,000 on Business+. The other number is less obvious: dynamic codes only work while the account behind them stays paid.

What Uniqode does well
Digital business cards and Linkpages
Uniqode sells digital business cards, and every plan includes Linkpages, mobile pages that hold many links behind one code. A tool that only redirects a code to your own page does not build either of these.
Forms, integrations and an API
Essential includes QR code forms, and Core lists an API plus Zapier, Make, Slack, Google Sheets and GA4 connections. If scans should feed other software, that is where the money goes.
Teams, roles and compliance
Plus adds three users with role-based access, and Business+ adds two organizations and single sign-on. The page lists SOC 2 Type 2 and HIPAA and a trust portal on Business+, which procurement teams ask for.
Rules and a long analytics history
Core lists smart rules, password-protected and age-gated codes. Business+ keeps scan data for life, while Essential keeps 60 days.
What each Uniqode plan changes
Essential is the entry point for dynamic codes: 15 of them, 5 Linkpages, forms and bulk creation, with 60 days of scan data. It does not break scans down by time, place or device, and it has no CSV export.
Core is where the product starts to look like a marketing tool. It lists 250 dynamic codes, scan analytics, integrations and an API. Plus mostly adds people and control: three users, roles and 500 codes. Business+ adds organizations, single sign-on and lifetime data.
Scans are counted per year
Each plan caps total scans for the whole account, and the page says the allowance resets annually, not monthly. Essential allows 50,000 a year, Core 1,000,000, Plus 2,000,000 and Business+ 8,000,000.
A small business is unlikely to hit these numbers. If you do, the page says you upgrade and pay the price difference, so a busy campaign can move you up a plan mid-year.
What happens when you stop paying
This is the part to read before you print anything. When the free trial ends, dynamic codes become inactive and stop redirecting, and their tracking pauses. After you cancel a subscription, the page says the codes become inactive as well: for them to work, the account linked to them has to stay active.
Static codes keep working, but after a trial you can no longer open the account. Uniqode suggests turning off auto-renewal so the codes keep running until the paid period ends. For codes already on menus or packaging, the real cost is the subscription for as long as they should work.
Custom domains and billing
A custom domain is not part of Essential or Core. The FAQ says it is a Plus add-on at $2,000 per domain per year, or you move to Business+, which includes one. The comparison table on the same page shows the Plus add-on at $500 a year, so ask Uniqode which figure applies before relying on either.
There is no monthly billing at all, and the page says it does not offer a switch from annual to monthly. Paying by invoice is limited to Business+, and everything is billed in dollars.
What one plan costs over one, two and three years
Essential is about $108 after one year, $216 after two and $324 after three. Core is $588, $1,176 and $1,764. Plus is $1,188, $2,376 and $3,564. These assume Uniqode keeps today's prices, which it can change.
They cover the plan alone. Add-ons such as a custom domain on Plus, extra QR codes or more form responses come on top, and the cost keeps running for as long as the dynamic codes should work.
Who can pay once instead
If you need dynamic QR codes and short links that you can edit, with basic scan counts, LimeQR is paid once: $19 for Solo with 100 codes and one custom domain, or $39 for Pro with 1,000 codes and five domains. Scans are shown per day, country and device for the last 30 days, and redirects are never capped.
It does not build digital business cards, forms or landing pages, and it has no teams, integrations, API or compliance programme. A shop with a few dozen codes fits it. A company that needs shared access, audit answers or years of history does not.
