Paperform pricing explained: the submission cap and what Pro adds

Paperform sells forms in four plans: Free, Pro, Business and Enterprise. This page reads Paperform's own pricing page on 2026-10-11, in US dollars, and keeps the monthly and yearly figures apart, because Paperform shows the yearly one first.

The plan structure is simpler than it looks. Seats are unlimited everywhere, forms are unlimited everywhere, and Paperform takes no cut of payments on any plan. What changes between plans is the monthly submission allowance, the size of the toolbox around the form, and the controls for branding, domains and teams.

Free is also more generous than it used to be, and it matters for the verdict. We make a pay-once form tool, so keep that bias in mind. Below we say who should stay on Free, who needs Pro or Business, and what our product does not do.

What forces an upgrade

Each row links to the Paperform page it comes from.

FromToWhat pushes you there
FreeProYou expect more than thirty completed submissions a month. Paperform counts a completed response, not a partial one, and the Free allowance resets every month.source, 2026-10-11
FreeProYou want the Paperform badge gone, your own logo and fonts, or custom HTML and CSS. The badge cannot be switched off on Free and every paid plan removes it.source, 2026-10-11
FreeProYou need webhooks, API access, hidden fields or an email sent to the person who filled in the form. The comparison table marks all of these as No on Free.source, 2026-10-11
FreeProYou sell products with inventory, take subscriptions, use coupons or calculate prices from answers. Plain price and donation fields work on Free, but these start on Pro.source, 2026-10-11
ProBusinessSeveral brands or clients need separate spaces, or you need roles. Pro has a single shared workspace with no roles, and Business adds ten workspaces and admin and user roles.source, 2026-10-11
ProBusinessYour company requires SAML single sign-on, enforced two-factor authentication, or payment by invoice or purchase order. Those are listed from Business.source, 2026-10-11

What Paperform does well

A Free plan that does real work

Free is not a trial. It includes one-question-at-a-time mode, conditional logic, a signature field, an appointment field and payments through Stripe, PayPal, Square and Braintree, and the page says Paperform charges no transaction fees. If you stay under thirty submissions a month, you may never need to pay.

Payments and selling, with no cut

Paperform takes nothing on top of your payment processor's fees on any plan. Pro adds product sales with inventory, subscriptions, coupons and custom pricing rules. A form that collects money is a different job from a survey, and our product does not do it.

Conditional content, calculations and documents

Paperform can show and hide questions and content from answers, calculate quotes, generate custom PDFs and send documents for signing with Papersign, which is bundled on every plan. We have skip-to logic only, and none of those.

Integrations and automation

Paperform lists more than four thousand integrations through native connections, Zapier and Make, plus its Stepper workflow tool with five thousand credits on Free and twenty thousand on Pro. Ours sends a webhook and a Zapier catch hook, which covers far less.

Team and compliance controls

Business adds ten workspaces, roles, SAML sign-on and enforced two-factor authentication, and Enterprise adds data residency and audit trails. Paperform also lists SOC 2 Type II and GDPR compliance on every plan. We have workspaces with invites but no single sign-on.

How Paperform prices: submissions, not seats

Paperform does not charge per seat. Its FAQ says seats are unlimited on every plan and shared across forms, signatures and workflows, so bringing in a colleague never changes the bill. Forms, fields per form and views are unlimited on every plan too, including Free.

The number that does the pricing work is the monthly submission allowance. A submission is a completed response. Someone who starts a form and abandons it does not count, so a half-finished form costs nothing against the cap.

On Free the allowance is thirty a month and it always renews monthly. Paid plans are unlimited under a fair use policy: Paperform says it will contact you if you are consistently over normal limits, and there is no overage bill.

Free: what thirty submissions buys

Free costs $0 and Paperform calls it permanent, not a trial. New accounts begin on a seven-day Pro trial with no credit card, and you can drop to Free on the billing page whenever you like.

The feature list on Free is wider than most free form plans. Conditional logic, multi-page forms, one-at-a-time mode, answer piping, save and resume, a template gallery, CSV, PDF and document exports, and submission notification emails to you are all ticked. Payments are ticked too: price and donation fields, tax calculation, refunds and the four processors.

The gaps are the things a business notices after launch. No hidden fields, no webhooks, no API, no email to the respondent, no analytics or partial submissions, no custom domain and the Paperform badge stays. Five field types are paid-only (Products, Subscriptions, Calculation, Hidden and Color picker): you can add them while building, but the form will not publish until you upgrade.

Pro: monthly versus yearly

Paperform's pricing page opens on the yearly toggle, labelled 2 months free, and shows Pro at $49 a month billed annually. The FAQ then states the month-to-month price directly: $59 for Pro. That is $588 charged up front for a year, against $708 over twelve months billed monthly, a saving of about seventeen percent, and Paperform's FAQ says the same.

Pro is where the feature list fills in: advanced design, custom form links, custom HTML and CSS, email responses, webhooks, the standard API, Google Analytics and Pixel support, custom analytics, conditional redirects, partial submissions, custom PDFs, products, subscriptions, coupons, scoring and calculations. Upload storage grows from one hundred megabytes to ten gigabytes.

Two items are priced separately even on Pro. A custom domain is $20 a month, and Google address search is $10 a month. If you need your own domain, the Pro figure is not the whole bill.

Business and Enterprise

Business is $124 a month billed annually or $149 month to month, which is $1,488 for the year against $1,788. Paperform says most teams land here once other people get involved. It adds ten workspaces, roles, one included custom domain, one hundred gigabytes of upload storage, one hundred thousand automation credits, a Business API, S3 storage of your own, custom email domains, SAML single sign-on and enforced two-factor authentication.

Enterprise shows no price. It adds unlimited workspaces, custom roles, an SLA, audit trails, a dedicated manager and storage in the EU or Australia. Paperform's default is the United States, and the FAQ says it is not HIPAA compliant today.

Three-year cost next to a pay-once license

Take Pro on yearly billing: $588 in year one, $1,176 over two years and $1,764 over three. On monthly billing it is $708, $1,416 and $2,124. Add a custom domain at $20 a month and the three-year figure rises by $720 more, if prices hold, which Paperform can change.

For comparison, Business on yearly billing is $1,488 a year, or $4,464 over three years.

MangoForm lets you build and preview one form for free and costs $25 once to publish, with no cap on forms or responses afterwards. The saving is large only if you can live without what Paperform sells; the next section says who that is.

Who should stay, who should pay Paperform, who can go pay-once

Stay on Paperform Free if you collect fewer than thirty responses a month and the badge does not bother you. It already does one-at-a-time forms, logic and payments, and a paid alternative has nothing to add.

Pay for Pro if the form takes money beyond a plain price field, needs inventory, subscriptions or coupons, calculates quotes, emails a confirmation to the respondent, or must connect to a tool through a native integration. Pay for Business if you run several brands or need SSO. Our product has no payments, no file uploads, no signatures, no email to respondents, no partial submissions and no show-or-hide logic.

Our product fits when crossing thirty submissions is the only reason you would upgrade: surveys, sign-ups, feedback and applications, one question per screen with a progress bar. It includes hidden fields, a webhook on every response, a read-only API, a Zapier catch hook, form analytics with drop-off per question, CSV export, custom domains and a Powered by badge that is off by default. Check your forms against both lists before you move.

FAQ

How much is Paperform Pro per month?

Paperform's pricing page shows Pro at $49 a month billed annually, which is $588 charged for the year. Its FAQ states the month-to-month price as $59, or $708 over twelve months.

How much is Paperform Business per month?

Business is $124 a month billed annually ($1,488 for the year) or $149 month to month ($1,788 over twelve months), according to Paperform's FAQ. Enterprise has no published price.

Is Paperform free?

Yes. The Free plan costs $0, is described as permanent rather than a trial, and allows thirty submissions a month with unlimited forms, fields, views and users. The Paperform badge stays on Free forms.

Does Paperform charge per user?

No. Paperform's FAQ says seats are unlimited on every plan and one person counts once across forms, signatures and workflows. The price depends on the plan and on add-ons such as a custom domain, not on headcount.

Does Paperform take a fee on payments?

Paperform says it charges no transaction fees and takes no cut of what you sell, on any plan. You pay your payment processor's fees, such as Stripe's, and nothing on top.

What happens when I pass thirty submissions on Free?

Paperform's FAQ says that if you go over your limits and do not upgrade, your forms or features may stop working until you update your billing. Partial responses do not count towards the allowance.

Can I move a Paperform form to a pay-once tool?

Not with an importer: ours reads public Typeform and Google Forms links, not Paperform. You would rebuild the form, and past responses stay in Paperform until you export them as CSV.
