A Paperform alternative with no submission cap

Paperform is a polished form builder, and its free plan is honest about its one real limit: 30 submissions a month. Once a form passes that, the next step is Pro at $49 a month on yearly billing, or $59 if you pay month to month. For a solo founder who only wanted more answers, that is a lot of money for one lever.

MangoForm is a smaller tool. It builds one-question-at-a-time forms with no limit on forms or responses, for $25 paid once. This page says who that suits, what Paperform does that MangoForm can't, and the cost arithmetic with each Paperform price linked to its source.

MangoForm is a good fit if

  • You upgraded Paperform mostly to receive more than 30 submissions a month
  • Your forms are surveys, sign-ups, feedback or applications that don't involve money
  • You want a progress bar and one question per screen rather than a long scrolling page
  • You would rather pay one time than track another monthly charge

Stay on Paperform if

  • You sell products, take payments or run subscriptions through your forms
  • You rely on calculations, appointment booking inside forms, signed documents or file uploads
  • Your workflow depends on Paperform's long integration list or on its Stepper automations

The math over 1, 3 and 5 years

Pro is the cheapest Paperform plan with unlimited submissions, so it is the fair comparison, taken at its yearly-billing rate of $49 a month. The free plan is the right answer if you stay under 30 submissions a month. Paperform's seats are unlimited on every plan, so team size does not change the figure.

Where Paperform is better

Payments and commerce

Paperform lets you sell products, run subscriptions and take payments inside a form, and says it charges no transaction fees and takes no cut of what you sell. MangoForm has no payment step. If your form is an order form, Paperform is the right tool.

Calculations, bookings and signatures

Paperform's field list includes calculations for quotes, appointment booking with calendar sync and a signature field. Its sister product Papersign handles signed documents. MangoForm covers none of these, so a quote or booking form stays on Paperform.

Integrations and automation

Paperform advertises over 4,000 integrations through direct connections, Zapier and Make, plus Stepper workflows with a monthly credit allowance. MangoForm sends a webhook on each submission, which you have to wire up yourself.

Team features at scale

Business adds ten workspaces, admin and user roles and a custom domain, and Enterprise adds SSO and an SLA. MangoForm has workspaces with member invites and nothing beyond that for large organizations.

Where Paperform's price comes from

Paperform's pricing is unusual in one way: almost nothing is metered except submissions. Forms, fields per form, form views and seats are unlimited on every plan, including Free. The Free plan stops at 30 submissions a month and shows a Paperform badge you cannot turn off.

Pro removes both limits. That is $49 a month on yearly billing, $588 a year, or $59 a month if you prefer not to commit, which is $708 a year. Business is $124 a month on yearly billing and $149 monthly. For a small business whose forms just collect answers, most of that price pays for features it may never open.

What $25 buys instead

MangoForm doesn't count forms or responses. You can build as many forms as you want and collect every answer that arrives. Each form asks one question at a time with a progress bar, and there are around 20 question types, among them text, email, phone, dropdown, rating, NPS, ranking and matrix. Skip-to logic sends a respondent to a later question or an end screen depending on an answer.

You can change colors, fonts and the logo, add custom CSS, put a password on a form and embed it as a standard block, popup, side panel or fullscreen. The responses table shows views, starts, completion rate and average time, and everything exports to CSV. The respondent interface comes in English or French. The "Powered by" badge is off by default, so there is nothing to pay to remove.

Three years of cost

Over three years, Paperform Pro on yearly billing comes to $1,764. MangoForm is $25 once, or part of the $49 bundle that also includes GrapeLink and PeachCalendar. That gap only exists if you need what Pro unlocks. If 30 submissions a month is enough, Paperform costs you nothing and you should stay.

Should you switch?

Switch if you pay Paperform to lift the submission cap on forms that collect answers without taking money. Stay if payments, calculations, bookings, signed documents or its automation tools are part of how you work. There is no import tool, so moving means rebuilding each form by hand; for short surveys and sign-up forms that usually takes a few minutes each.
