Fillout pricing explained: what each plan really unlocks
Fillout has a Free plan, then Starter, Pro and Business, plus an Enterprise tier you reach by talking to sales. The figures below come from Fillout's own pricing page, read on 2026-10-11 in US dollars. The page shows yearly billing by default and a saving of 20%; the monthly-billing prices here are the struck-through yearly totals on that page divided by twelve.
The pricing logic is unusual. Fillout does not charge per seat, so a whole company can sit on one plan. It charges by how many responses you collect each month and by which finishing touches you need: a lighter badge, no badge, custom fonts, a custom domain, drop-off analytics. Knowing which of those you actually need decides whether you pay $0 or close to $900 a year.

What Fillout does well
No per-seat charges
Fillout's page says you can invite your whole company for free, and every plan in its comparison table lists unlimited seats. For a team that shares one account, this removes the most common source of surprise on a form-builder bill.
A lot behind the free tier
Payments, PDF generation, scheduling forms, conditional logic, workflows, respondent emails, file uploads and a REST API are all marked as included on Free. If you stay under 1000 responses a month, you get a very complete tool for nothing.
Workflows and a long integration list
Fillout Workflows is on every plan, and Airtable, Google Sheets, Notion, HubSpot, Mailchimp and 50+ more integrations are listed as included on Free. A form that has to feed a CRM or a base is well served.
Business-grade extras if you need them
Custom code, an HTML block, pre-fetch data, duplicate-submission prevention and a conversion kit with abandonment recovery are on the page. Few form tools go this far, and for a team building intake flows they are a real reason to pay.
What Free already gives you
The Free column on Fillout's comparison table is generous. It lists unlimited forms, unlimited questions, multi-page forms, 50+ field types, form embedding, payments, answer piping, scheduling forms, PDF generation, conditional logic, a review page and a choice of form language.
It also marks workflows, respondent emails, workspaces, 2FA, CSV export, REST API access, calculations and scoring, pre-fill and hidden fields, resume in-progress forms and a scheduled close date as included. The one hard number is 1000 responses a month, and the one visible cost is a Fillout badge on the form.
Starter, Pro and Business in plain terms
Starter is $19 a month billed monthly or $180 a year billed yearly, shown as $15 a month. It raises the response cap to 2000 and unlocks custom themes, a logo, custom endings, a redirect on completion, login forms, signatures and Calendly scheduling. The badge turns into light branding rather than disappearing.
Pro is $49 a month billed monthly or $480 a year billed yearly, shown as $40. It lifts the cap to 5000 responses, removes all Fillout branding, and adds custom share links, fonts, favicon, share preview, white-label emails and custom CSS. This is the plan most people mean when they say they want forms that look like their own.
Business is $89 a month billed monthly or $900 a year billed yearly, shown as $75. It makes responses unlimited and adds the custom domain, form analytics, drop-off rates, partial submissions, custom code, an HTML block and priority support. The jump from Pro to Business is the largest on the page, and it is mostly about the domain and analytics.
The response cap is the real meter
Since seats are free, the number that moves you up the ladder is responses per month: 1000, 2000, 5000, then unlimited. The page's FAQ says a form that goes over the limit keeps collecting; you can then upgrade, buy bulk submissions or wait for the next month.
That makes Fillout friendly to spiky traffic, but it also means a successful campaign can push you from one tier to the next. Count your busiest month, not your average one, before you pick a plan.
Real cost over one, two and three years
Starter on yearly billing is $180 after one year, $360 after two and $540 after three; on monthly billing it is $228, $456 and $684. Pro on yearly billing is $480, $960 and $1,440, and on monthly billing $588, $1,176 and $1,764.
Business on yearly billing is $900, $1,800 and $2,700, and on monthly billing $1,068, $2,136 and $3,204. These assume Fillout keeps today's prices, which it can change, and that you stay on one plan for the whole period. Seats do not change the numbers, because none of the plans charge for them.
Who should pay, who should not
If you collect fewer than 1000 responses a month and a small badge is acceptable, stay on Free. It does more than most paid tools, and Fillout's FAQ also mentions discounts for non-profits, students, startups and educational institutions.
The narrow case for MangoForm is someone paying for Pro or Business mostly for appearance, volume and a custom domain. It costs $25 once, with no cap on forms or responses. It hides the Powered by badge by default, supports custom colors, fonts, logo and CSS, serves a form on your own domain, shows views, starts, completion rate and drop-off per question, and has workspaces with member invites.
It does not take payments, collect signatures or file uploads, or email respondents, and it has no partial submissions, so check your forms against that list first. If you rely on those, or on Fillout Workflows and its 50+ integrations, Fillout is the better fit and the price is fair for what it does.
