A Senja alternative you pay for once
Senja has a free plan, and for a lot of people that is the right place to stay. This page is for the ones who outgrew it: you hit the 15-testimonial limit, or you want your own branding on the widgets instead of Senja's, and the next step is a monthly subscription.
KiwiProof does a narrower job. It collects text and photo testimonials, lets you approve them, and shows them on your site. It costs $29 once for one space, or $59 once for unlimited spaces. Below you will find Senja's actual prices, the arithmetic, and a long list of things Senja does that KiwiProof does not.

Starter is the cheapest Senja plan that removes Senja's branding and lifts the 15-testimonial cap, which is what most people upgrade for. At $29 on monthly billing, KiwiProof Solo ($29 once) costs the same as one month. On yearly billing ($290 a year) it costs a tenth of one year.

Where Senja is better
Video recording and hosting
Senja collects video testimonials directly, hosts them, and lets you export them, in HD on paid plans. It can also turn them into short clips for social posts. KiwiProof has none of that: video means a YouTube or Loom link that your customer pasted into the form. If video is the point of your proof, Senja is the right tool.
Importing what you already have
Senja imports testimonials from 35 sources, including X, Facebook, Google, Capterra and Trustpilot, and its Starter plan syncs new ones automatically. KiwiProof lets you add a testimonial by hand, with the text, the author and a link to the original post. There is no scraping and no automatic sync, so a large backlog means a lot of copy and paste.
Integrations and an API
Senja Starter includes Zapier, an API and webhooks, so collection and sharing can run on autopilot. KiwiProof does not have any of those. Testimonials arrive through the form and you handle them in the inbox.
AI features and team seats
Senja analyzes testimonials, generates case studies, translates testimonials into 20 languages on Pro, and includes seats for teammates (2 on Starter, 5 on Pro). KiwiProof has no AI features, no translation and no team seats: one account, one person.
A free plan
Senja's free plan gives you 15 testimonials with its full set of widgets. KiwiProof is paid from day one. If you collect only a handful of testimonials a year, Senja's free plan will do.
Why Senja users start looking around
Senja's free plan is generous, and that is also where the pressure comes from. Once you collect more than 15 testimonials, new ones are hidden until you upgrade, and the widgets on your site still carry Senja's branding. The upgrade is Starter, at $29 a month or $24 a month billed yearly, which is $290 a year.
For a site that shows a wall of testimonials, that is an ongoing charge for something that rarely changes after the first few weeks. That is the gap KiwiProof is built for. You pay $29 once, you keep collecting, and the bill does not come back next month.
What KiwiProof does today
Each space gets a shareable collection form that needs no login. Reviewers give their name, role or company, a star rating, the testimonial text, and optionally a photo and a YouTube or Loom link. They must tick a consent box before they can submit, and the database refuses to approve a testimonial that has no consent.
You review everything in an inbox: approve, reject, edit the name, role or text, tag, delete, and filter by status or tag. Approved testimonials show up in a wall of love, a carousel or a single-quote widget, in light or dark, embedded with a script tag or an iframe. Each space also has a public wall page you can link to. Brand color, logo, the question and the thank-you message are yours to set, and no KiwiProof badge appears on the widgets.
To ask for testimonials there is a request kit: an editable message, the collection link and a downloadable QR code, which you copy or open in your own email app. You can export every testimonial in a space to CSV, and delete a space or your whole account, which removes the testimonials, photos and logos.
Solo or Pro, and how the math works
Solo is $29 once and covers one space. Pro is $59 once and covers unlimited spaces, which is the one to pick if you run testimonials for several products or clients. Senja counts projects: Pro includes 5, and each one after that costs $10 more every month, so the comparison moves further in favor of a one-time price as you add them.
Against Senja Starter on yearly billing, $290 a year, KiwiProof Solo pays for itself in about five weeks. Compare the one-time figure with several years of subscription and the gap is larger, but the more honest question is whether you use what Starter adds. If you use the API, Zapier and autosync every week, you are paying for real work and should stay.
What you would lose by leaving Senja
Make a list of what you use in Senja before you decide. If it includes recorded video, imports from review sites, automation, AI summaries or shared seats, KiwiProof will feel like a step backwards, and a $29 saving will not make up for hours of workaround.
If your list is closer to "collect quotes with a form, approve them, show them nicely on my site without someone else's logo", then a one-time purchase is a reasonable trade. You can also run both for a while: leave your old video testimonials where they are in Senja, and send new text testimonials through KiwiProof.
Refunds and what lifetime means
Every purchase has a 14-day full refund. A refund of KiwiProof also removes the plan it granted, so refund and access stay consistent. Can KiwiProof collect video testimonials like Senja?
No. KiwiProof does not record or host video. A reviewer can paste a YouTube or Loom link in the form, and that video is embedded in your widget. If you need video recorded in the browser, stay with Senja.
Can I move my testimonials from Senja to KiwiProof?
By hand. You add each testimonial with its text, author and a link to the original post. There is no automatic import from Senja or any other site, so it is realistic for a few dozen testimonials, not for hundreds.
What is the difference between KiwiProof Solo and Pro?
Solo is $29 once and includes one space. Pro is $59 once and includes unlimited spaces. Both are one-time payments, and the FckSubscription bundle includes KiwiProof Pro.
Do I need the Senja paid plan to remove branding?
