A Google Forms alternative for forms that look like yours
Google Forms is quick, familiar and good at what it does. It works from a personal Google account, and teams get it with Google Workspace. Where it falls short is the look and the flow: questions sit in sections on a page, and most forms look like Google Forms.
MangoForm is a small form builder for people who want the form to feel like part of their own site. It runs one question at a time with a progress bar, takes your colors, fonts, logo and custom CSS, and can live on your own domain. You can build and preview one form for free; publishing costs $25 once. Your existing Google Form can come over from its public link.
MangoForm is a good fit if
- You want forms with your own colors, fonts, logo and custom CSS
- You prefer one-question-at-a-time forms to a long page of sections
- You want a form on your own domain, or ending with a booked meeting
- You'd rather pay once than add a Workspace seat for a form tool
Stay on Google Forms if
- Google Forms costs you nothing today and its look doesn't bother you
- Your forms need file uploads
- Respondents should get an email copy of their own answers
What Google Forms costs

| Plan | Billed monthly | Billed yearly |
|---|---|---|
| Business Startersource, 2026-10-11 | $8.40/moper seat | $7/moper seat |
| Business Standardsource, 2026-10-11 | $16.80/moper seat | $14/moper seat |
| MangoForm | $25 once, or in the $29 bundle | |
The math over 1, 3 and 5 years
Forms is not sold on its own, so the fair comparison is the Workspace seat you would pay for: Business Starter at $7 a month per user on an annual plan, $8.40 on the flexible plan. If you already pay for Workspace for email, or you use Forms from a personal Google account, MangoForm won't save you money: you would pay for the format and branding, not to cut a bill.

What MangoForm does
Only features that exist in MangoForm today. If it isn't in this table, assume we don't have it.
| Feature | MangoForm | Google Forms |

| No cap on forms or responses | Included | Up to 500,000 responses per form from September 2026 |
| Around 20 question types: text, email, phone, number, date, dropdown, multiple choice, rating, NPS, opinion scale, ranking, matrix, yes/no, legal, statement, and a time question with earliest and latest bounds | Included | Yes, including file uploads (respondents must sign in to Google) |
| Custom colors, fonts, logo and custom CSS | Included | Colors, a header image and fonts |
| Serve a form on your own domain: add it in the form's settings, set the DNS record shown, verify | Included | Forms are shared by link, short link or embed |

| Email the form owner on each new response, or a daily summary, or off (per form) | Included | Yes, email notifications for new responses |
| Confirmation email to respondents, turned on per form: pick your Email question; only people who tick "Email me a confirmation" get it; it holds your own short message and the form title, never their answers; links are removed; replies go to you; capped per address and per form per day | Included | Yes, responders can get a copy of their response |
| Redirect after submit: the thank-you screen can send people to your own https:// page, with a button or automatically after 3 seconds | Included | A custom confirmation message after submit |
| End a form with a 'Book a meeting' step that books a PeachCalendar event type (needs PeachCalendar connected; max 20 bookings per form per day, one upcoming booking per email per event type) | Included | No booking step in the form |
| Save & resume: a respondent can leave a long form and come back later on the same device and browser; MangoForm keeps their answers in their browser for 30 days (nothing reaches our servers until they submit) and asks if they want to continue | Included | Yes, for respondents signed in to a Google account: a draft is saved for 30 days and follows their account to another device |
| Share results with a link: a paid owner can turn on a read-only page of a form's responses table for anyone with the link (your team, a client); the link is secret, not indexed, and can be replaced or turned off at any time; viewers cannot edit, delete or export | Included | A results summary (charts per question) that can be shown to everyone who can answer the form; no separate link for a chosen audience |
Where Google Forms is better
Price, if you already have it
If you use Google Forms from a personal account or already pay for Workspace, it costs you nothing extra, and no one-time price beats that. MangoForm only makes sense if the format, branding or domain matter to you.
File uploads and copies of answers
Google Forms has file upload questions, stored in your Drive, though respondents must sign in to a Google account to use them. It can also email responders a copy of their response. MangoForm has no file uploads, and its confirmation email holds your own short message and the form title, never the respondent's answers.
Inside Google Workspace
Google Forms sits inside Google Workspace, next to the Google apps your team may already use. MangoForm is a separate small product with its own login.
Why people look for a Google Forms alternative
The usual reason is not price but presentation. A Google Form is recognisable at a glance: sections on a page, Google's recognisable layout, a short confirmation message at the end. For a client intake form, a product survey or a waitlist on your own site, that can feel out of place.
MangoForm shows one question at a time with a progress bar, or several questions on one page when that reads better. You set colors, fonts and a logo, add custom CSS if you want finer control, and the "Powered by" badge is off by default. A form can be served on your own domain: add it in the form's settings, set the DNS record shown, and verify it.
What MangoForm does after someone submits
Per form, you get an email on each new response, a daily summary, or nothing. Respondents who tick "Email me a confirmation" get a short confirmation email with your own message and the form title; replies go to you. The thank-you screen can also send people to your own https:// page, with a button or automatically after 3 seconds.
If you use PeachCalendar too, a form can end with a "Book a meeting" step: the respondent picks a slot, the booking is created in PeachCalendar and the answers are attached to the meeting. Responses also go out by webhook, to a Zapier hook, or through a read-only REST API.
Bringing your Google Form across
Paste the public link of your Google Form and MangoForm builds a draft from it: questions, options and required flags come over, sections become pages, and time questions and 'shuffle option order' come over too. Images and videos are not imported, tick-box grids become one answer per row, and the form must be public, with no Google sign-in required.
Check the draft before you publish it. Your past responses stay in Google Forms, so export them first if you need them in one place.
FAQ
Can I import my Google Form into MangoForm?
Yes, from its public link. Questions, options, required flags, sections (as pages), time questions and 'shuffle option order' come over into a draft. Images and videos are not imported, tick-box grids become one answer per row, and the form must not require a Google sign-in.
How much does MangoForm cost?
You can build and preview one form for free. Publishing costs $25 once, with no subscription and no cap on forms or responses after that. There is a 14-day full refund.
Can respondents get a copy of their answers?
Not from MangoForm. Respondents who tick "Email me a confirmation" get your own short message and the form title, never their answers. If a copy of the answers matters, Google Forms does that.
Does MangoForm support file uploads?
No. MangoForm has no file upload question today. Google Forms has one, though respondents need to sign in to a Google account to use it.
Can I use my own domain?
Yes. Add the domain in the form's settings, set the DNS record shown and verify it. It's included in the $25.
Pay once. Keep it.
MangoForm is $25 one time. The bundle is $29 one time and includes MangoForm and our other live apps, with future updates.
