A Doodle alternative, only if you never run a group poll
Doodle is known for the group poll: you suggest a few times, everyone votes, and the best slot wins. PeachCalendar does not do that. There is no poll, no voting and no way to find a common time across a list of people. If that is why you use Doodle, close this page and stay where you are.
This page is for a narrow group: people who pay Doodle for its booking pages and 1:1 links, and who have never opened a poll. On Doodle's pricing page, Free includes one booking page and one 1:1, and shows ads. Unlimited booking pages and 1:1s, and no ads, start on Pro at USD 11 per seat per month billed annually, or USD 15 billed monthly. PeachCalendar lets you set up your booking page for free and costs $30, paid once, when you want it to take bookings. Below: Doodle's prices with their source, the five-year math, and what Doodle does better.
PeachCalendar is a good fit if
- You are a freelancer, coach or consultant who uses Doodle only to send a link so clients can book a one-on-one call
- You need more than one booking page or event type and would otherwise move up to Doodle Pro for that
- You want a booking page without ads and without another yearly subscription
- Your calendar is Google Calendar and you only need new bookings to land on it
Stay on Doodle if
- You run group polls to find a time that suits many people, which is what Doodle is built around
- You use sign-up sheets for events, shifts or classes with sessions people pick from
- You rely on Microsoft Teams, Webex or Zoom links, or on Outlook or iCloud calendars
- You need a team with an admin console, roles, co-hosts or booking on someone's behalf

The math over 1, 3 and 5 years
Free has one booking page and one 1:1, so a single link costs nothing and cannot be beaten. Pro is the cheapest plan with unlimited booking pages and 1:1s and no ads. We use the yearly-billing price for one seat, USD 11 a month. Doodle states USD 11 per seat per month billed annually with a yearly saving of USD 48 versus monthly billing, which puts monthly billing at USD 15 (180 minus 132 is 48).

What PeachCalendar does
Only features that exist in PeachCalendar today. If it isn't in this table, assume we don't have it.
| Feature | PeachCalendar | Doodle |
|---|---|---|
| Public booking page with your own link | Included | Yes: one booking page on Free, unlimited on Pro |
| Unlimited event types (15 to 120 minutes) | Included | One 1:1 on Free, unlimited 1:1s on Pro |
| Bookings added to your Google Calendar with the invitee | Included | Doodle's comparison table lists calendar connection and syncing meetings to your calendar. PeachCalendar is one-way: it adds bookings to Google Calendar and does not read your other events |
| Google Meet link generated for each booking | Included | Google Meet, Zoom, Microsoft Teams and Webex are listed as video options; Zoom, Teams and Webex are shown under Pro |
| Per-event colors, image, custom CSS, hide the "Powered by" badge | Included | Custom logo and branding is on Team; ads are removed from Pro |
| Group bookings: set "Seats per slot" on an event type (1 to 100) and several people can book the same time slot until it is full; one shared calendar event per slot, guests don't see each other | Included | Group polls (one on Free, unlimited on Pro) and sign-up sheets. These are a different tool from seats on a slot, and PeachCalendar has no group poll |
| Confirmation email to the invitee and notification to you | Included | Not listed on Doodle's pricing page |
| Embed the booking page on your site (inline or iframe) | Included | Not listed on Doodle's pricing page |
Where Doodle is better
Group polls
This is Doodle's core and the reason most people know it. You propose times, a list of people votes, and you pick the winner. Free has one poll and Pro has unlimited polls. PeachCalendar has nothing like it, so anyone who needs to find a time across several people should stay on Doodle.
Sign-up sheets
Doodle includes basic sign-up sheets on Free and unlimited sign-up sheets on Pro, for events, shifts or sessions that people choose from. PeachCalendar has no sign-up sheet.
More video and calendar choices
Doodle's pricing page lists Google Meet, Zoom, Microsoft Teams and Webex, and a connect-calendars row on its comparison table. PeachCalendar works with Google Calendar only and offers a Google Meet link, a phone call, an address or your own link.
Team and company features
Team adds an admin console, roles and permissions, co-hosting, booking on behalf of someone, activity reports and Stripe payments, and Enterprise adds SSO and a service-level agreement. PeachCalendar is built around one person's calendar and takes no payment step.
Who should not read past this line
If you open Doodle to ask a group when they can all meet, you are the person Doodle was made for. The poll is the product, and its free tier gives you one of them. Switching to PeachCalendar would remove the thing you use. That is the plainest advice on this page, and it is why this comparison is short on promises.
The people who might actually want an alternative are the ones who found Doodle through its booking pages. Doodle has added a booking page and a 1:1 link beside its polls, and some people use only that part.
What Doodle Free gives you, and where it stops
Per Doodle's pricing page, Free gives you one group poll, one booking page, one 1:1 and basic sign-up sheets, with ads for organizers and for the people who book. If one link is all you offer, that is enough and costs nothing.
The limit appears as soon as you want a second booking page or a second 1:1, for example a short intro call and a longer paid session. Those are unlimited on Pro, together with the removal of ads. Pro is USD 11 per seat per month on annual billing, which is USD 132 a year, or USD 15 per seat per month on monthly billing, which is USD 180 a year. Doodle also bundles unlimited polls into Pro, so you are paying for a tool of which you would use one corner. Custom logo and branding is a step further up, on Team.
Where PeachCalendar fits
PeachCalendar lets you set up your booking page for free: one event type with your availability, and you can see your booking page. Visitors see that you are not taking bookings yet and cannot book. Turning bookings on costs $30, paid once, and it unlocks unlimited event types from 15 to 120 minutes.
Each booking becomes an event on your Google Calendar with the invitee on it. You can generate a Google Meet link, or use a phone call, an address or your own video link. You set weekly availability, block a day or set custom hours for it, and the invitee sees times in their own time zone. The booking page carries your colors and image, custom CSS, and hides the Powered by badge. Calendar events only flow one way, from PeachCalendar to Google Calendar.
If you have a Calendly account you can paste your public link and bring over event types. For a Doodle booking page there is no import, so you recreate your event types by hand, which takes a few minutes.
The five-year math
Doodle Pro on annual billing is USD 11 per seat per month, so USD 132 a year and USD 660 over five years for one person. On monthly billing it is USD 180 a year and USD 900 over five years. PeachCalendar is $30 once, so about $30 over the same five years.
Against Free, there is no math to do, since one booking page and one 1:1 cost nothing on Doodle. The comparison only matters if you need unlimited booking pages and no ads and do not use polls. Even then, you give up polls, sign-up sheets and anything outside Google Calendar.
If you decide to move
Keep Doodle running until the first real booking comes through PeachCalendar, then swap the link in your email signature, site and profile. Past polls and sign-up sheets stay in Doodle, and nothing moves across.
Some people split the work: they keep Doodle's free tier for the occasional poll and use PeachCalendar for booking links. That works well and costs nothing extra on the Doodle side.
